New Semiconductor Prototype from Arm in Development
Multiple business news-portals have recently revealed how Arm is now in the midst of building its own semiconductor prototype.
The goal is to showcase current and next-gen capabilities of its System-on-Chip (SoC) design.
Interestingly, this comes a week after Intel and Arm announced their collaborative effort to produce new low-power compute System-on-Chips (SoC).

According to these reports, Arm will be working closely with partners to develop the new semiconductor prototype.
Sources in the know have confirmed how Arm assembled a new ‘solutions engineering’ team to lead the development of its new semiconductor. The expected series will include concepts for mobile devices, laptops, and various smart electronics.
While the move from Arm is not surprising, it does not confirm of any plans to move forward with its own fabrication.
